BiotechHealth: Call for Applications
BiotechHealth - PhD Programme on Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology Applied to Health Sciences will enter its second edition in 2014/2015.
The programme is jointly organized by two schools of the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP and FFUP), four research institutions (INEB, IBMC, IPATIMUP and REQUIMTE) and one hospital (Centro Hospitalar do Porto).
BiotechHealth aims to provide excellence in doctoral training in Molecular and Cellular Biotechnology applied to Health Sciences, in an interdisciplinary and international environment, fostering collaboration between internationally recognized research groups, hospitals and industrial companies.
BiotechHealth will accept 15 students, both national and international, 8 of which will be eligible for PhD grants under the FCT PhD Programme.
The deadline for applications to the BiotechHealth programme was extended to the 15th of July 2014.
