The 2nd Symposium on Immunomodulation in Cancer and Regeneration will be held on June 23rd at Biblioteca Almeida Garrett.

This one-day symposium will provide an opportunity for top scientists in the fields of immunomodulation, cancer and regeneration to get together and discuss the future challenges concerning the translation of novel immunomodulatory strategies into more effective therapies.
In order to favor this exchange, lectures will take place in a very informal environment, and participants are encouraged to bring questions that may contribute to the advancement of knowledge through integrative approaches.

The program includes three lectures by invited speakers and short oral presentations selected from the submitted abstracts. A round table session on “Macrophages in cancer and regeneration: friends or foes?” will close the Symposium.

As for poster sessions, these will unfold during coffee breaks. Best oral and poster presentation prizes will be awarded.
