The INEB researcher Ana Lopes Ribeiro was awarded with the Prémio Pulido Valente Ciência 2012.

Ana Ribeiro received this award by the project develop at INEB and coordinated by Mário Barbosa «New insights into mutable collagenous tissue: Correlation between the microstructure and mechanical state of a Sea-Urchin ligament». With this projects Ana Ribeiro also won the award Daniel Jouvance by the Institut de France Foundation.
