Daniel Jouvance award granted to INEB Researcher

The INEB researcher Ana Lopes Ribeiro was awarded with the International Award Jeune Chercheur 2012 attributed by the Fondation Daniel Jouvance - Institut de France by her work in marine nano- structures and marine bio-inspired nanotechnologies.

 

The DANIEL JOUVANCE – Institut de France Foundation awards a young scientist working in fundamental or applied aspects of marine biology, marine chemistry, marine biotechnology or oceanography.

The Daniel Jouvance Prize is awarded yearly since 1992. Previous laureates: 2011 - Julien Claes Catholic Univ.( Louvain -Be) for his work on bioluminescence in the shark Etmopterus spinax. 2010 - Stéphanie Bondu, Université de Bretagne Occidentale (Brest- FR), Therapeutic exploitation of invasive marine algae. 2009 Aurélie Chambouvet, Marine Station ( Roscoff, FR): Control of Toxic Marine Dinoflagellate Blooms by Parasitic Syndiniales.
